Katina

Katina is a dominant female, she is the mother of the first baby orca whale ever to be born in captivity.She is a mother of 5 children but sadley only 4 are still alive, the one that passed on was Katrina, who only lived for ten years.Katina is also known as Kandu 6 and Tina.Katina spends most of her time with her first child, Kalina.

Tillikum

Tillikum is the largest male killer whale in captivity.He weighs over11,000 pounds and is over 30 feet long.We don't get in the water with him because of his size.He is also known as Tilli and he is 24 years old and this year will be 25 years old.

Kalina was the first sucsessful captive killer whale birth.She has given birth to 5 babies and only one was a still birth. The rest of her calfs are still alive.She spends most of her time with Katina and Skyla.

Taima is an agressive whale and is a bad mom.Every calf she has had she has harassed.She is on birth control so she can't have another baby again.She spends all of her time with Tillikum.

Takara is playful like her daughter,Kohana.She will interact with people at the glass in the underwater viewing area.Takara now spends most of her time with Kohana and Kalina.

Taku is one of the dominant males like Tilli.He was born September 9th 1993.This year he will be 12 years old. he spends most of his time with all of the whales including Tiama and Tillikum.

Kohana was born on May 3rd 2002.She is very playful like her mother.She was conformed a girl a little less than a week after she was born. Kohana spends most of her time with Takara than any other adult orcas in the whale pool.

Ikaika was born August 25 2002.This year he will be 3 years old and is doing very well and is living a healthy life.He is also kown Ike.He is also as curious as Kalina's new baby.He spends most of his time,Kalina,Katina, and the calf.

Skyla

Skyla is a sweet little girl .She has been named Skyla and is now 1 year old.She is also very courious and is very cling to her mom and fits in great with the killer whale family.Skyla now spends most of her time with Kohana.

Aiko

This is our new baby who was born on June 15th 2005. It is a little girl born to Katina.We voted and Aiko won!Thanks so much for helping to chose the new calfs name!
